As crafters who work with wood, resin and other materials, we are all conscious of the health hazards associated with dust. It is a well-known fact that the finer the dust the more danger it poses to your health. But as we know, to achieve that perfect finish, we have no option but to work in an environment where these ultra-fine dust particles are generated.

There are several ways in which we can minimise dust – the most common being the use of vacuum systems or using wet sanding processes (immerse your sandpaper in furniture oil or water.) Whilst wet sanding achieves excellent finishes, you still need to end the process using some form of oil, wax or varnish to preserve the finish.

 Our range of AbraZive finishing pastes provides you with dustless sanding and finishing in one product. The outcome is a finished artefact that is flawless in terms of its finish and leaves a protective coat of polish.

In collaboration with experienced wood and resin artisans, we have created a polishing paste which produces a high-quality finish on wood, resin, and combinations thereof.

Our product comprises specially selected abrasive compounds suspended in an eco-friendly paste made from natural ingredients like Soy wax, Canola Oil, a natural oxidising agent, and Eucalyptus oil.

 A key advantage of our paste is the ability to deliver a fine finish while also providing a polished surface, eliminating the need for additional polishing after application.

 The AbraZive Polishing Paste has been carefully formulated to produce a paste for the discerning woodturner and for those craftspeople who are particular about the final finish of their artefact.  Key to the effectiveness of the paste is the inclusion of Kieselguhr which is a very porous rock with a fine particle size and barb shape making it an excellent cutting material.  This paste is comparable with Yorkshire Grit with one distinct advantage – there is no need to apply a finishing polish.
